John Whittington (UK)
Author "Systemic Coaching & Constellations"
I am a personal and professional development coach working with individuals of repute, founders and leaders as they explore the deep patterns in life, in intimate relationships and in leadership. I have been teaching systemic coaching and constellations worldwide for fifteen years and offer a number of constellation workshops that embrace all kinds of personal and professional challenges that we human beings face. In 2020 my book 'Systemic Coaching & Constellations' was published in 3rd Edition. All my work is underpinned by an understanding of the innate human need to belong and the hidden loyalties and dynamics that emerge in systems as a result. These dynamics can make life, relationships and leadership very complex but constellations and the understanding that underpin them offer a practical, respectful way of accessing and then influencing the system. The articles on this site are a repository of reflections and insights drawn from my experience in professional practice working with a wide variety of men and women from different parts of the world and in many contexts.

Executives with strong egos also need coaching, but not everybody is coachable
Coaching strong executives is a challenge and I like it, says one of the best known executive coaches, Marcia Reynolds. For this reason executives with strong egos often find their way to her, but she would not be interested in coaching someone like Donald Trump for example. On behalf of Äripäev, journalist and long time translator Katre Scott-Hopkins set out to inquire how one of the top coaches in the world works with executives.
The journey from head to heart
Organisational life is so complex and so multi-layered and with overlapping stakeholders. In fact, I would suggest that organisational systems are far more complex than family systems, describes systemic coach and author John Whittington the reasons, why leaders sometimes need advice and support.
